In the Georgian and Victorian era people used locks of their loved ones hair to either memorialize them or make keepsakes. I have always thought this was such a special process. This 15k rose gold brooch has two different colors of blonde hair interwoven. The pristine purple enamel surrounded by seed pearls encases the hair work. On the back side thee are two different strands of hair braided and encased in a glass compartment. There is lovely engraving around the back. This piece is in excellent condition and can be worn on a chain as a pendant.
